What is a Signtec Agent?

An agent is a representative of Signtec Ltd who is responsible for winning orders from both new and existing customers. As an agent, you will be provided with a list of current clients in an area whom you will manage. Additionally, you will be expected to win business from new clients in that area. Orders that you win will be made and completed by the Signtec team in Chelmsford so you will not be responsible for the production or installation.

What do I Charge for Products?

There is a scale of charges for many materials, however the price quoted to the customer for complex projects will be calculated for you by the team in Chelmsford.

How do I get Paid?

For existing clients you will receive 20% of all orders following the first order obtained by you.
For new clients introduced by you, you will receive 20% of all orders.
Payment is made to you at the end of every month and includes all client invoices raised during the previous 30 days.

Do I have a Territory?

Yes, you have a main area in which to operate but this is quite loosely defined. You will however be responsible for liaising with other agents to ensure you both don't contact the same potential client.

How soon can I Start?

If you already have experience of signmaking, you can start right away. For those new to signmaking you will receive a one week training course after which you would be fully equipped to sell signmaking products.

Do I Receive a Product Pack?

Yes, you will receive a full pack of products that you can demonstrate to customers.

Do I Sign an Agreement?

Yes, the agreement covers such items as remuneration, territory and conduct.

Is the Agreement Time Limited.
Yes, the agreement lasts for 5 years although termination from either side is acceptable giving 30 days notice. If you renew the agreement after 5 years there is no fee charged.

Is there a Fee?

Yes, a fee  is required from you to become an agent. The fee is fully refundable if you decide to cancel within the first 3 months. Within the first year the fee is refundable less and commission paid to you. After the first year, there is no refund.
